We had an appointment on Monday, I am measuring at 25 and the baby is kicking and growing as it should be. I had a woman ask me at work if I was aware of the fact that I was having a girl. A bit of a twist as Ben and I have been pretty certain there is a boy swimming around in there. We will find out soon enough, just want this little one to be healthy and strong and a good nurser like it's brother. Thinking of being 25 weeks is crazy. Once you pass the 20 week point, it really seems that birthing time is just around the corner. 30 weeks will be here in no time, they the new year and bam we have a second kid.

Not very Flattering
Just realizing that Ben really doesn't take good pictures of me, not that it helped me wearing black in front of a black window. Had to tweak the photo so you could actually see the belly, so it looks like hell, but you get the point. Here is the belly finishing up week 24.

Asher continues to love the baby, giving the belly kisses and requesting it in his sleep. We have spent the last couple of nights with him spooning the belly. Very sweet, but I kinda want my space. I guess I should enjoy this super cuddle side of him, in the long run it will be over to soon.

24 Weeks and All is Well
We are rounding the corner of week 23 and setting foot in week 24, hard to believe things are so far along as they are. I still feel good, bending over is getting a bit tougher, so I have to remember to squat. Asher can sit on top of the belly now which is good. And I forget it sticks out so far and run into things with it. Fitting between things, like a two chairs when waiting tables is getting a bit trickier as I don't have a good sense of the space needed to get this baby through with me.
I got our first fire rollin today, and am cozy in an overly warm house. My cheeks are flushed, but I don't care this is the type of warmth I love! Forget summer, I want my wood stove.

Kicking Explosion
Little Bee in the belly has been kicking up a storm lately and it is so reassuring to feel. Ben is able to feel the baby move which also makes it so much easier for him to be involved and aware of the pregnancy reality.
I had a good pregnancy week, feeling great and strong. I helped Ben move 3 truckloads of wood, which felt great just to be active and not hamstringed by this belly. Asher continues to love the baby, giving me belly kisses, playing peek a boo with the belly and asking for the baby to come out. He also brings the baby book over and asks to see the gina- otherwise known as the picture of the baby coming out the vagina, and then says squeeze, as the mama needs to squeeze and work hard to get the baby out. It is amazing what interests him.

Have 6 weeks really passed?
A fully formed spine- such a beautiful thing
We are 21 weeks along here and all is well. Last Monday we had a sonogram, Asher sat patiently for most of it. The baby looks as healthy as it's brother did at this time. It was pretty awesome and so reassuring to see this life inside of me.
The pictures were given to us on CD this time and I was sad that I wasn't able to get this one on video like we did with Asher, I even had the same tape ready to record the movements a rare organizational move that I prepared ahead of time!
The baby is kicking a lot at times, but seems to mostly sleep. I know within the next couple of weeks Asher and Ben will be able to feel the kicks to, but for now it is all for the mama to enjoy. Last week as Asher and I played one of our daily games with the baby (one of his on creation that he requests to play with baby, tells me to lie down and lift up my shirt and then balances all types of things on my enlarged belly), I could see the pieces moving from all the babies kicks, pretty remarkable. These kids are already bonding. We also get lots of movements when Asher is being read stories which is cool.

Maternity Clothes
This past weekend I was fortunate to get a new stash of maternity clothing from my sister in law as well as all my old stuff back... and although it isn't completely necessary as my regular clothes still fit is it fun to try on new clothes.
The best part is the elastic waists on everything. This has made peeing a lot quicker, which makes Asher happier as I always have to pee before nursing. It is really shaving off some time, not to mention so comfy, I don't even have to worry about zipping up my fly because there isn't one!! I am sure that by the end of this I will happily zip my fly on my own, but I am going to enjoy it while I can!

Embracing Pregnancy

Now that I have had a bit of time to get used to this pregnancy, I think that I am finally ready to completely embrace the fact that I am pregnant and really loved being pregnant the last time. As the fatigue lessens a bit, and nausea eases off, I am able to marvel at the amazement of the whole situation and aknowledging the suprise of it all and knowing that we will love all of our children and that life will continue to be enjoyable and beautiful.
I am opening this blog up for others to view if they by chance click the link off of my other blog. I am not one to share to much private information in person, so here you go. Welcome to sharing in this next adventure: the Lubchansky's expanding from three to four.
